The Cuban Photography Archive is a digital collection of interviews, images, videos, newspaper, magazine, journal articles and references focused on conceptual and documentary photographers of the 1990s generation in Cuba, those who started working and produced their most significant images during and after that decade, also known as the “photographers of the Special Period.” The project is brought to you by Lidia Hernández Tapia, a Ph.D. student in Latin American, Iberian and Latino Cultures at The Graduate Center, CUNY.the project
